Paph help
I bought a bulldog paph at an orchid show. It did well for several months and then finally the flower wilted. I cut the stem and battled off a mealybug infestation with neem oil which I believe (so far...) to be successful. However I think the neem oil may have been in too much concentration or may have damaged the plant.
One of its bottom leaves seems to be turning a more yellow color and is not as firm. Is this a lack of sunlight? Should I invest in a florescent or other lamp? what lumens?
It has grown another offshoot of leaves which I believe could be separated and that is doing well. However I looked on the inside of the plant and there was a small, thin sort of shoot that was green a few days ago, and has turned a sort of brown. What is this, just another thin leaf? It doesn't exactly look like another spike, which doesn't make sense as the old spike is still present.
Also, what brand/type of potting medium do you recommend? I am guessing I will have to repot it. Its in a green plastic container, but it is not clear.
I think a bunch of my problems stem as form not knowing whom to purchase from so any advice is warmly welcomed.
I can get pictures when I get home. Sorry for not having any now.
Thanks greatly in advance.
