I have 2 plants and am concerned about them getting enough light. I only have north and east facing windows....any suggestions on getting enough indirect lighting? one is in the north facing window sill and seems a bit sickly. the other is under the east facing window and has begun to look a little droopy. I'm new at this and worried!

What kind of orchid is it? A phalenopsis should be fine in a east window. I dont know of many ochids that would like a north window.

I agree with Chips, it all depends what type of Orchid it is.

If you don't know what type then post a pic of it and we may be able to tell.

I have all of my phals in a north-facing window and they do fine! If your plants are "droopy" or "sickly," you might want to check to see if they need to be repotted. Just a thought--

Where are you located Amo? While Annika may be able to bloom hers in a north window, up here in the Netherlands a north window is far from being enough light. For me, phals need at least an east facing window, where they get the morning sun. In the summe when I go to france, almost all of my orchids, phals included, get dappled south sun. I don't think phals need that much to bloom, our country house only has south facing windows.
