Default clear plastic pots

I am pretty new to orchids and very new to this forum. In reading earlier posts, I saw the discussion on clear plastic pots. What was the outcome? Has anyone found a supplier in Canada?
My hubby bought me a phal (my very first orchid), from a grocery store about four years ago. It was in a clear plastic pot. It just keeps growing and blooming. There is moss growing on the inside of the pot.
Also, I take it that some dendrobiums lose their leaves and you're left with a bare cane. Now what should I do with it? It has had quite a few leaves over the winter but suddenly the leaves are turning yellow to brown and falling off. It is in my porch which faces sort of south. The blinds are adjusted to let in plenty of light but not direct sunlight. The temp ranges from about 75 during the day to about 60 at night.
I live about an hour and a half out of Edmonton and am anxiously awaiting the orchid show in a couple of weeks.
