Re-potted Den and Phal....look happy

Good job! Repotting is much less scary than it seems! I was really worried the first time I repotted. Those pots are really nice, but do they have good drainage at the bottom?

Yes, the one the Den is in only had one hole, so i made sure i put rocks in the bottom and left the hole un-blocked...... And the Phal pt has three holes in it, plus rocks at the bottom......so I think it will be ok....right??? lol

They should be okay, but makes sure you are extra careful when watering these...water sparingly, and get all the water out!! Sitting in water is quick death for orchids. Having only one hole makes me nervous.

Get that desk fan out and keep it on these plants - it'll help the media dry out after watering and prevent rot and mold.

Yay....and desk fan is on the top of my "to do" list....

In the Den pot, i think it should be ok, cuz i used big rocks, so there are gaps above the hole right below the medium.....

Thanks! its a strange little pot, the plant is planted in a pot that is sitting in another pot, i was planning on using it to put some water in and help with the humidity..... is that a good idea???

For a humidity tray to work, it has to be beneath the leaves too. Having extra water below the pot as in your picture won't really do anything regarding extra humidity.
