Default extra tips on orchids!

hi guys this is really weird.. finally i got tips on people who actually grew their orchids. so never trust the sellers coz they only buy orchids! lol! anwyay i learned that dendrobium types needs at least 6 hrs of filtered sun inorder for them to bloom continually in a single cane.

well do not water your chids everyday especially species of phals (borneo type) - violacea, bellina, gigantea, micholitzii... blah blah! if your going to mount them dont cover the base with moss... just 1/2 inch below the base... and tightly secure the plant.

the grower showed him he just use 40% charcoal 40% pebbles 20% wood chips. on all dendrobium, phals, oncidium, cattleya.

if you already have the right (light, air and humidity) then watering is maybe the cause on why your chids are not flowering. give those chids a drier side... especially phals, grammatophyllum, and catts (digbayana - a 2 week of no water) would promote flowering

anyway ill post if theres more... anyway this topic is for guys who have a hard time reblooming or growing orchids.. but still depends on your area. better talk to a farmer who really grows orchids... its hard if you trust the sellers!!!!
