Ok, my last question before i drive you insane, I swear
When i go to get the bark for re-potting, do I soak it in boiling water like i've read, or do I just wash the roots off and pop it in the bark?

The bark mix needs to be wet, it's easier to just soak it overnight. I think the only reasons it gets boiled are: a) less time to soak or b) suspected bugs in mix.
Using wet bark mix makes repotting much easier as you can tap the pot to make the mix fill in around the roots in the middle of the pot and the bark will hold moisture much better in the future.
Anytime you repot, the roots have to be cleaned of all previous potting media. You'll also have to snip the dead roots. I wouldn't be in a rush to repot your plant just yet, repotting is stressful on the plants and as long as it is doing fine, there is no reason to take a chance on blasting your buds.
You're not driving me insane yet.....

Sam, I love the Phal. Looks like it has a lot of equestris in it, and equestris is one of my favorite species! Great choice.
