den spike?

Hi!
"My sentiments exactly....crazy spike!"

Since I've started growing orchids this past year, this is the 3rd plant to spike (and hopefully to bloom, of course). The 1st 2 orchid spikes were normal, but this one apparently felt like getting funky.

Thanks for the congrats! I'll certainly send a picture when it blooms. Actually, I was just telling my husband that I believe this might be one of the orchids that was blown from a shelf on our backporch early last summer. Not positive, though.....I really can't remember. If it is, it's spike was broken off from the tumble. Here is a picture of what this one will look like, again if it is the same orchid.

Thanks Vicki - I haven't re-bloomed a Den yet, so this gives me hope of what to look for!!

By the way, my spike seems to be growing nicely, but waaaaay too slow for my liking. lol
