I noticed the flowers are not nearly as yellow as they used to be.

Fritz, the color of the flowers will fade with time, it's normal. Some Phals can stay in bloom for a few months.

If you still have flowers, I don't think you need to fertilize it yet. I don't remember what Jason told you but if you're growing it in moss, you probably only need to fertilize every 3rd watering after the flowers fall off.

I told Nam to share some of that fertilizer I gave him with you so ask him the next time he sees you. I reminded him again today. I haven't had time to see his plant again but I'm assuming he hasn't started fertilzing yet either. So he should have plenty of fertilizer left. Good luck!

I did get the fertilizer from Nam. I am a bit jealous I heard his plant is flowering again already!

With out the pretty flowers to attract me I have forgotten to water... I set up my Outlook to water with RO every Wed except every fourth week to do the fertilizer bath. Does this seem reasonable?

I wouldn't get too jealous about Nam's plant. I saw it again a few months ago when he had all the cousins over. There was a huge clump of mold growing on the surface of the moss. He said he didn't even know that was mold but he had wondered what it was.

Hmm, I'm a bit scared for your ONE orchid. Just because she's not adorned in flowers, you forgot all about the tiny bit of care she needs from you,

If you're still growing in sphagnum moss, fertilizing every 3rd or 4th watering is probably fine. I only have a few Phals so you might want to email the vendor and check.
