Default Oops i did it again - New Phalaenopsis Noid

My new years resolution was broken yesterday - I bought an orchid......

But isn't it gorgeous and such a bargain from a garden centre stand that normally has plain pink, yellow or white -this was the only one like this and although it doesn;t show the upper flower stem is broken which makes me think that is why it ended up getting shipped on the £5 bargain trolley. It's a Noid but what a Noid!

I am definitely with Shannon on this one. Spotted phals, especially the one that you have there, are awesome !!!

Amazing! I'd center stage that one in my collection anytime!
One of those in the right place at the right time things!

Definitely, I nearly lost it to another woman who saw it just as I finished checking out the back of the trolley - it really was a case of 'quick, get my hand on it before she nabs it' just as she said "oh this one's different!"

Yes, I think it's their longevity - the flowers last for weeks, the plants are perennial and so all in all much better value than cut flowers.

Thanks for all the enthusiasm - looks like I'd better find something to sell so that i can keep on buying!!

Hedge--

Gorgeous flower! I love the color and the spots. I have one with a ton of spots on it and its so mesmerizing-- almost as if Nature means it to look dangerous!

I'm not typically a huge fan of purple in general but for some reason-- purple on a phal is so eye-catching and stunning. Great buy!!!

That's a very pretty flower! I too would have had a hard time not buying it.

That's funny about you and the other woman. I can just imagine the scene, the both of you fighting over the plant. Cut to a scene of the both of you in jail at the county police station trying to explain it away!

If the judge is an orchid grower, he/she'd understand....and have to step down due to conflict of interest. Or, they'd order you to give up the orchid to the court.
