Default Stupid Question - what does slc. stand for

Ok, I'm trying to work out the full name of the genera abreviated to Slc. and every search I do just shows me pics of Slc. orchids.

I've also looked down the names in the alliance sub-forums and can't spot one which might match.

I've worked out it is part of the Cattleya Alliance simply because that's where people have asked questions about Slc. orchids but I still can't spot what it stands for.

Can anyone answer this silly question.

Thanks Camille, that link would be great if you can find it, meanwhile at least I now know Slc.

Am I right in guessing that sophrolaeliocattleya is an intergeneric hybrid?

And here's the list. It's the RHS list from December 2007.

orchid abbreviations

And also the list of what each genus is composed of

genus composition

That should help you with all your questions I think!
