An article! /headdesk
The idea didn't even occur to me, probably because I've been so inactive with my writing. I love the idea.
I'm taking the list of names I was so graciously provided with me today when I see my aunt. That way we can consult over them and add any names that I don't recognize, and see if she has anything of my grandfather's that might provide any of the three or so names I know I'm still missing.
The names that I know for certain are part of my search are:
Epicattleya Brian David
Epicattleya Catherine Margaret
Sophrocyclia Christopher John, Encylaelia Christopher John, Epilaelia Christopher John
Epicattleya James Joseph, Epilaeliocattleya James Joseph
Stacyara James Joseph (Not sure if this is the same breed as above or not)
Epicattleya Janis Monique
Sophleyclia Joseph Cornelis, Epilaeliocattleya Joseph Cornelia, Catcylaelia Joseph Cornelis, Epilaeliocattleya Joseph Cornelis
Catyclia Joseph Riley, Epicattleya Joseph Riley
Catyclia Ruth Beckenbach, Epicattleya Ruth Beckenbach, Epicattleya Ruth Beckenback
Epicattleya Susan Margaret Wehlburg, Epilaeliocattleya Susan Margaret Wehlburg, Stacyara Susan Margaret Wehlburg
I've included all the variations on the names that I was given. That way something might turn up on a less updated list which might not have the current classification name. I found the Epicattleya Joseph Riley at
Epicattleya Joseph Riley There may also be more than one type named Joseph Riley, because there was a Sr. (my grandfather), a Jr., and a III.
That was about the only success I had via Google.
