i don't think they would attract mosquitoes, since their "bait" is intended for insects that are attracted to sugary substances and mosquitoes are drawn to co2 emissions. however if you are trying to destroy the larvae and prevent the problem entirely, the aquatic bladderwort utricularia gibba may be the plant for you.
