Well, I can't make it out that clearly, but it looks like it's in moss. It also looks like it's very wet, so let it dry out and watch for roots to turn a whitish/grayish before watering again like Ross and Rosie said. There are some green roots, I see, and those look fine, but that's not saying there aren't rotten roots without actually looking.
It's a game of chance. You can wait it out for the blooms to go by, and see what happens, or you can pull it out and check the roots. If you pull it out to check the roots, you will have to repot in fresh medium. Do you have any medium handy?
It may be fine just like that only letting it dry out well before rewatering. It's a tough call that only you can make. I wish you good luck. It's a beautiful plant.

ok, I will defenetly let it dry until the roots look whitish, but I would like to take it out and check for rotten roots, so, as I don't have medium I will wait until I found some. Is there any particular kind that you recommend?
Just to be clear, if I take it out to check I shouldn't put it back as it is? I should use the medium, right?
Thanks very much for all the help!

You might be able to slide the whole thing out and take a peek and put back. But to see inside the medium and get to the crown area, you may have to remove much of the medium. If that is the case, then you have to remove all the medium that is there now. Using a sterile scissors, cut all mushy black roots, and use a physan or listerine to clean roots up and prevent/kill any bacterial growth. Then repot in new medium. You can buy the prepackaged orchid mix that you'll find in nurseries and box stores. If you can get your hands on coconut husk chips and/or fir bark and/or charcoal (for gardens, not grills) to mix up would be even better. It's very important that you presoak whatever medium you buy for 24 hours before using. Drain good, rinse good, then repot in a new or very cleaned pot! Orchids basically need medium to hold them in the pot. I don't believe it matters how much of which you put together. I prefer coconut husk chips as the main part of the mix, but you can use all bark if you want. The charcoal helps sweeten the mix and I use it for the bottom alot instead of the styrofoam peanuts. I love putting used wine corks instead of peanuts (real cork, not that plastic stuff in many wines). The first time repotting is scary, but remember that orchids are pretty resilient, so just go for it. Oh, and if you use styrofoam peanuts for the bottom, make sure they are not the kind that dissolves in water after a few minutes. Hope this helps!
