Question Greenhouse Kits

I'm far from a handyman but am planning to buy and assemble a 12' x 24' greenhouse kit. I have looked at lots of kits on line and like the looks of these three.

1. Cedar-Built

This a beautiful greenhouse but probably more expensive than I can handle. On the other hand, assembly looks like something I could handle.

2. Juliana "Gardner"

This is another beautiful greenhouse, and the price is right, but I have read the on-line assembly instructions and think it would be very difficult to understand and follow them.

3. Advance Greenhouses "Evangeline"

This is the third beautiful greenhouse. The price is intermediate, but I have no information on assembly.

I would be very grateful for comments from anyone who has assembled one of these three or a comparable greenhouse.

Thanks,

Hank Cochran

Welcome to the Board. Glad you decided to join. There are lots of folks here with GH's. I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

A while back (in the 1970s) I had a redwood greenhouse. It was quite simple to set up as it came in prebuilt panels. I think it was from Sturdi-built - The World's Finest Redwood Greenhouses I also know Texas Greenhouse Company, Inc.: Welcome! has many kits. While I haven't used their kits, I did get my heaters, fans, etc. from them. Hope this helps.

One of these days I'll have one of those. I'm desperately running out of room.

Check out Turner Greenhouses - Quality, Affordable Greenhouses, Dedicated to Customer Service in Goldsboro NC (bound to be your cheapest shipping option).

I bought the frame and covered it with multiwall polycarbonate, using the metal straps they provide for securing the fiberglass panels.
