Hi

I'd usually suggest covering the open cuts with cinnamon but I'd like to see pictures first.

Can you post pictures so we can see this damage?

If you need help with it, let us know.

If the cuts and breaks are fresh, dust them with cinnamon to seal the wound. If they have dried, and don't look infected, I'd leave them alone. They might look unsightly, but they shouldn't cause problems.

Ditto to the above, in time the plants will grow new leaves from the top and the damaged ones will be gone it will just take awhile to happen .. Gin

I don't think there is anything to worry about, it looks like old mechanical damage, that's already healed up a bit. As for the pic of the leaf that has a line going down the center, sometimes that happens to phals, I'm not sure why.
The leaves are just going to look ugly for a long time until the plant grows and naturally loses those leaves.

The cuts aren't fresh and don't appear to have any sign of infection. I'd say that the easiest course, and also the safest, would be to just let them be. The plant looks healthy. There's nothing to worry about with it. Enjoy it!

All in agreement

Your chid looks fine...enjoy!

For future reference, any time you have a fresh "wound" on a chid's leaves, you should cover the open area with cinnamon, it will seal the cut and prevent infection.
