Hausermann's Fertil-ade
Question Hausermann's Fertil-ade

Has anyone here used this product? If so any opinions. I just bought some and was wondering if anyone else has had any luck using this. Also on the bottle it says to use 1 tsp per gallon. Is this the right mixture? I have read on here that I may want to cut it back.

I just bought 2 bottles 3 days ago. I have applied only once, so verdict still out.

I actually went to the store, 30 minutes from my home, and spoke to the sales person about it. She uses half a teaspoon every watering. So it is the weakly weekly thing as far as she is concerned.

Personally, I think it's a bit high on the nitrogen compared to the other ingredients (15-5-5). As such, it ought to be good for foliage growth, but might slow blooming in some plants, so may require switching to a lower-nitrogen formula a couple of months before the plants' normal blooming period to get the maximum out of them.

At a half tsp/gal, you're applying about about 100 ppm N, which I think is a pretty good level for continuous use.

How is it for minor- and trace elements?

I have used Hausermann's fertilizer for years. I have know opinion on it other than my plants grew. For the last several years I have been usung MSU's RO water formula with great results.
