well the goldenzell "lemon chiffon" now has 2 new roots over a inch long and a third comiming out,These new roots are thick and healthy and this is after I carried the plant home from North Carolina to southeast Missouri this week. She rode in the floor betreen the seats In my truck ....lucky for me it was a overcast day and the ac wasent needed much and it was off and on rain for the 700 mile trip also....Good humidity for the drive.I have to say all three Catts I bought at Ironwood Estates orchids in N.C. are putting out new roots but The Lemon Chiffon roots are much more robust than the others looking to be about twice the diameter of the Mac Holmes "Newberry" or the Marey Ellen Carter "Dixie Hummingbird" roots. Now that Im home they are under a 75 watt cfl about 6 inches away and are getting watered with potassium nitrate solution for fertilizer and a drop or two superthrive per gallon. In a 10x10 room with its own ac set at 75 degrees.
