Orchidmania! at Cleveland Botanical Garden - Orchid Board

I went to the Orchidmania! exhibit at the Cleveland Botanical Garden this weekend. They filled their already lovely greenhouses with hundreds of orchids of all kinds. It is going on until March 29. Since they wouldn't let me pull up a giant truck and take the displays home with me I look a lot of pictures. The 3 arches over the bridge in my pictures are completely covered in orchids. The pictures don't do it justice.

I love the arches! It is pretty much impossible to capture the grandeur of those displays though isn't it? I came back from the Pacific Orchid Expo with some great pictures, but like you said, they just don't do the real thing justice.

Lily, I was also at the show - this year certainly made up for last year's show which I considered to be a dissappointment. I loved that they had the displays in the greenhouse in their natural environment - it was just incredible! Those arches were one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen!! It was definitely something that had to be appreciated in person!
