Den. Blue Violetta problem?
Are these yellow leaves and spots from too much sun possibly or naturally getting older and ready to fall? I'm new to Dendrobium and not sure if I have a problem. Thanks.

I think I have the same Dend., and it's great to have an ID! The leaves on the two oldest canes have done the same for me - turned yellow and dropped. The two newest canes are looking lush and healthy. I've kept a close eye over the past couple of months, also concerned that something was wrong. But it was only the older leaves.

that may just be older leaves. I'd just give it a nice spray with some rubbing alcohol, ivory soap to be on the safe side- or if you have safers insecticidal  |

did you move it gradually to the spot it,s in? if not it could be due to too much sun. if not; i would say it,s normal for old leaves to drop.
btw are you fertilizing?

Yes I am fertilizing, maybe too weakly I've recently realized. It's new to me and has been in that spot about 2 weeks. The phrag is new too...just bloomed! |

I can't help you with the problem as I can't for the life of me grow these plants! I buy them and buy them and they pout and die...beats the heck out of me!
I can help you with the genus abbreviation though:
D. = Dactylanthera
Dend. = ?
Den. = Dendrobium
