Here are some photos, it is quite dificult to put on my photoalbum on orchid board photos, so these are photos that I put on my other album.
Borneo is nice, and can be quite expensive, specialy our visit to Danum Vally, but there is great service in the middle of the jungle, guids are excellent,...
It is better to book before you go there, it is up to 30% cheaper if you book, quite amazing. Be careful, book only on direct agency (every place, lodge,.. has his own agent or office, so you have to find the direct one , otherwise you pay more)!!!!
We didn't book, well it was may (it is the end of low season) and we got every thing.
Danum vally is on 200 up to 300 m sea level, there are some orchids but most are in bloom in july.
Most orchids are growing on 1000m up to 3000m, verey good places are around Mt. Kinabalu.
Under Mt. Kinabalu next to city Ranau i visited Poring hot spring, where is situated also a small nursery. there i some of the photographed orchids,
the second nursery was on the was from Tambunan to Kotakinabalu. there was a nursery with butterfly farm, nice, most of the plants were in bloom, it took me 2 hours just for photographing them!!!
