That's a great question. I'm often puzzled when I purchase a rather large Cattleyea that has already bloomed (you can see the old cut spikes) and you know it's blooming size, but the thing won't bloom or even show signs of blooming for the whole blooming cycle that is the normal time for them. So I say they should change the initials to NB (near blooming), B (blooming), and TSTB size. (to stubborn to bloom). Sorry, I'm a little frustrated at a couple of Catts in a 6 to 7 inch pot taking up the room of 4 or 5 smaller catts and refusing to bloom.
