My catt is apparently happy with it's new spot in front of the east facing sliders. As a result, it's taking on a reddish hue on the back of some leaves and the top of a few pbulbs.
The folks at the local orchid store must be seriously amused by all my questions. I appreciate they are very patient (and don't giggle until after I leave
). I've dragged my little catt over there a couple of times. Today's trip was because I thought I had sunburned my plant.
I'm happy to be taught the changing color, along with the 5 little root nubbins, is a sign of a happy catt. So that will be a good spot for all the others when they arrive.
At least today I didn't come home with more plants, unlike all my other visits. Of course I did buy a plant from them just 5 days ago, so the selection hadn't changed much. There's always next month...
Sometimes it's embarrassing to be the newbie, but I'm learning as I go.
