Hello to new and old of the OB. I found this tea light candle holder yesterday at the local Salvation Army for 29 cents . Well as you can see by the holes in the side's of the pot will give great circulation of air to the roots. Them holes are all the same around the whole pot. My Sedria japonica (SEIGYOKUMARU) species orchid was looking like a great choice for this pot. I just thought this might give advanced and beginner's orchid growers a cheap source of really great looking orchid pots.
That pot is great! What a cool idea. And you can't go wrong for 29 cents!
I'm going to keep my eye peeled for stuff like that. Although, I don't have anything so small that it would be happy in a tea light holder! My hubby is pretty good about scouring the flea markets and such. You just never know when you might find something unique.
I love it.....soooo cute! You never know what you might find at Salvation Army Stores, yard sales and thrift stores. By the way, your little orchid is very cute, too.

Great find! I love perusing Goodwill and thriftstores and the like. I would say that I wish more people did that, because it would mean less waste, but then there'd be less for me to find!
