Hello.
My orchid started growing about 4 new stems. They were all nice and long and the appearance of bulbs were days away. Suddenly the center of the stems started drying up and shriveling excreting a sweet gel type liquid. Does anyone know why this has happened?

What type of orchid are we talking about. A phal? paph?
