Wow, some great ideas in here! As I'm looking for alternatives to the old fashioned pot, I'm certainly going to keep these in mind. I like the look of the baskets so much better. Plus, they are more versatile. You can set them on someting, or hang them

I have thought about doing something similar but using cheesecloth.

Hmmm...good idea. I thought about choth sheer-curtain material, lace and fabric like that, but I knew they would decay in time from watering. Cheesecloth isn't really a type of cloth is it? If not, it may work very well. I'll have to keep it in mind. Thanks for the tip.
