I have a mottled leaf paph that just keeps growing taller and taller. I don't know what kind it is. Am I doing something wrong?

I too have two paphs that are doing the same thing and would love to know a answer why. I can get a picture of it if needed. Hopefully someone can answer to why this happens. I have about 50 other paphs that are very normal, all in the same room. Thanks everyone.

Hi I have a mottled leaf paph that's doing the same thing...and even has roots appearing...I was worried too...but apparently nothing to worry about I have been told. So my advice is don't worry just let her keep growing as she wants.

Its just a habit of some paphs to do this. If the roots are in good shape then I won't worry. Some phrags also have this habit

I have had two Paphiopedlium species do that. It's kinda like stepping up from older growth. The reason I found out was from to low of light. My paphs now enjoy 1000 - 15000 fc. they stopped getting to tall. From where before this they were in 500 fc
