Heather aka

Well folks, the flowers are finally out and no, I can't spot it on the website. So all you people who have good eyes, perhaps you can I.D. it for me, please?

I am also uploading my other flowering beauties of the moment, not all orchids, but all gorgeous, so enjoy

Regards

Heather

I found one similar to your on easyorchids.co.uk, but no sure if that's really it. It's called Colmanara 'Masai Red'. It's the closest thing I can find though.

Beautiful flowers both the phals, and the others that crept in! Thanks for a moment's joy!

I love the Hippeastrum (known more commonly, but erronously, in the UK as Amaryllis).

Mine is very similar colours to that but is not out yet. It has a large bud which has just cracked open in the last few days and is showing signs of at least four flowers inside. There is also a second bud on a shorter stem that is less developed.

It's a great plant with great flowers... even if it's not an Orchid

Thanks, Camille, I'll look that one up. And thanks for the compliments everyone. They brighten up my days too.

Well, Camille, I think you're right - so at last my NOID gets a name. Thank you
