Default siphonex

I have a new siphonex that I want to start using, I want to put it in a 5 gal bucket but have lost the instructions as to how much fert, powdered 30-10-10 to put in the bucket does any one use these and can give me some advice

They are designed to give a 16:1 ratio, IF your pressure and flow are moderate.

I recommend against that fertilizer in the first place (excessive nitrogen), but assuming you want to use it at 125 ppm N on the plants, that would be 1/3 teaspoon per gallon, so you'd add 16 x 1/3 x 5 = 26-2/3 teaspoons to make up 5 gallons of concentrate - a shade over a half cup

Thanks Ray since I repot in bark , what would you recommend as a good fert. I have heard that most of the urea nitregon does not go to the plant anyway . 90%of my plants are mature catts. I grow in a greenhouse with plenty of light available.

I like both the Greencare MSU formula and Dyna-Gro "Grow", but it's really not crucial, as long as it's complete.

If you grow in organic-based media, the critters that break the urea down will be present, but to what extent is beyond me. I just generally shy away from hi-N ferts.
