semi-hydroponic potting media, there are different types. Thats about all I can tell you, I dont have any experience with it. But I think the advantage is that it never breaks down.

Wow that website was really beneficial!!!!! I am not really a beginner nor by any means an Expert grower and in my 5 years of growing ive never tried this!!! i may have to start! it looks like the way to go for my conditions!

Just make sure that whatever you are going to convert that it has new root growth so the new roots will adapt to the new culture! I learned the hard way when I first started!
