Have all the past blooms fallen off? It is common for them to "rest" for a little bit after the initial blooming.

I agree. Many of my phals will have sleeping buds for many many months before blooming again.

Looks like this is an old flower spike thats done flowering. Sometimes Phals will bloom off the same spike from the end and sometimes they dont. It doesnt mean there is anything wrong with the Phal.
