Check the second picture, which I believe is the top shelf.

Ross that is a Stanhopea candida. It is quickly outgrowing the green house. You can see other pics that are posted on catasetnea forums.

Same with me here. They are out there come rain or shine or thunderstorm. We are having a lot of rain of late. I usually loose a plant or two from rotten roots during the monsoon period. I have been nursing a couple already and we'll see if they survive the ordeal!

20jlr...very small you might think, we all start off one chid at a time, but just wait.... Mine started in a livingroom on a single teak table (4 chids), moved to the dining room table now my set up is in a breakfast nook, moved the hubby right out...possession is 9/10ths of the law Indoor growing is tricky when it comes to space, mounts, hanging vanda's will multiply your growing area with limited space. My space is getting very tight, especially after this a.m. I realized that a few plants have grown so much the racking will need to move for more heigth.
Hami, your growing outdoors is so beautiful
here's a few photo's of how I have grown

Gee, before this I have never given a thought on having to keep orchids indoors .....you know... those like vandas can grow up to quite large.
I can understand your wife...heheh...we ladies always feel the need for more space in the house for all our stuff.
Nice to see your phals blooming.
