KLN - How much do I need to buy

Ok, I'm planning to buy some KLN from a UK website to try and help my poor phal with only two roots (only had two for over six months but still alive so deserves some help).

Anyway, I only need it for this one phal and I've heard the rooting hormone in it can go off.

I can buy it as 8fl.oz. or 32fl.oz.

I have no concept of how much I'm going to need though. Will the 8fl.oz. be enough if I'm just using it on this one plant or am I likely to get through more than that before it goes off

Get the 8 ounce bottle - for several reasons:

1. Normal usage, as a fertilizer supplement, is about a drop per liter at most, and that is a fairly strong solution (here in the States, the standard is 1-2 drops per gallon). Yeah, you'll use more to rescue a plant, but that's a one-time treatment.
2. It has a finite shelf-life. Heat and light degrade the hormones rapidly, so storing it for a long time is a waste.
3. 8 ounces is 3648 drops. That ought to last you a while

Thanks Ray. That's kinda what I thought but wasn't sure as I've never tried it before. I'm going to get some ordered and see how it goes.
