Recomendations for easy to grow lithophytic orchids

I have several Balinese stone statues in my Garden. They look great covered in moss and I was wondering which orchids could be easily grown on them. The climate is subtropical with major rains in Summer decreasing in the Winter. I live in an indigenous coastal forest which means that most of the garden is in partial shade. Note that humidity is high (esp. in Summer)

I would also appreciate any tips as how to establish the plants onto the statues.

Assuming you can water it sufficiently, almost any orchid can be grown on such a substrate, and the moss will help a lot.

If you pick a plant with fairly thick, stiff leaves and sturdy pseudobulbs, it will lessen the watering demands.

Actually any of the rupiculous Laelias will do the trick. These are plants that grow in pockets of detritous in granitic situations. So I assume they would grow well for you here. The only trick with these, is blazing hot sunlight. They love full sun. I've had great success with Laelia briegeri under High Output T5 florescents. In fact I may have it ready to spike. Your part shade may equal my full sun in intensity.
