What's your favorite orchid?
It's a hard choice, but out of any species or hybrid of any variety, which one floats your boat the most?
I have to choose paph sanderianum for myself!

It use to be just Phals. Then paphs, then it was Catts. Now I think it's Tolumnias (I only have one so far, but it's quite a beauty) and soon it will be Miltoniopsis. I guess what my favorite is....is whatever is in bloom at the time. Oh, and my ongoing love of Angraecums (although I've yet to see a bloom from any of them, but they are so unique).
Having orchids are like having children...you can't favor one over the other.

Sophronitis coccinea or Dendrobium cuthbertsonii, but both show my preference for minis.

I have favorites within each genus but there's no way I could choose "a favorite"

Wow, what a question! It's like a Sophie's choice - which of my CHILDREN is the favorite? Answer? None, because I love them all equally!

WAY too difficult to pick out one single orchid. Especially since I'm relatively new to orchids. I could maybe say, however, that currently my most most favorite type are the little rupicolous Laelias. But SO many other faves too!!!
