Blooms on my new dendroblabla not opening? Help! Female
Default Blooms on my new dendroblabla not opening? Help!

yeah she is a rescue....jammed in a corner dry as a bone with one bloom. Two spikes..one bloom on each is open. Two blooms want to open, but it seems like the tip is dry? I dont have pics as yet, I am lucky I can sign on to the internet much less move pics and such ( I can, however, restart a willing heart! ) My neighbor said she can get pics for me tomorrow. Until then..should I help them along? It seems like they would open with a little help. I was thinking of using a scalpel? Suggestions from my new friends at OB? THANK YOU!

Perhaps a fine misting on the blooms might help or make it easier to separate the petals.

Being a medic...I am a fix it now kind of person. I decided to mist the plant and used a scalpel to help release the petals. It worked! There is a bit of brown on one of the blooms, but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. Thank you so very much for your input!
