Hi there, I've recently inherited a Winter Wonderland orchid and don't know how to care for it! I googled, but came back with poor results, can someone give me the low down on this beautiful orchid?

I live in S.E. Montana and I have mine in a ESE window about 18" from the window.I use a fert. @ 150 ppm once a week with a water flush on the fourth week.It blooms at least twice a year for me.Water thourly and let dry between waterings. You don't say in what medium or conditions you are growing in as this does make a difference.
Hope this will give you a place to start and I'm sure other members will have more to add.

The orchid doesn't look like its doing to good as of right now, I'm pretty sure it has been neglected for the last little while.. I was hopeing just to start from the beginning and acquire information on every aspect of this orchid. Lighting, potting medium etc. Thanks
This was my very very first orchid...which is no longer with me because I killed it. But it was such a beauty when it bloomed for me! Good luck and feel free to post pictures of it so we might be able to give a better recommendation on what you might need to do to save it.

tree fern, med - high light depends on your area, i get full morning sun. and i always water my plants everyday well i live in the tropics so i need to water them every morning just make sure it will get dry by night. try using some root hormone it does help on mine!
zazz, you can get a nice pre-made mix for your orchid from rePotme Orchid Supplies - Orchid Mix - Orchid Pots - Orchid Fertilizer. Sometimes a pre-made mix allows you to stress over one less thing. You will want the kind for Oncidiums. They have two different kinds...a classic mix and an imperial mix. Both are very good, I have used all of their potting mediums and my orchids love it.
Since your 'chid belongs to the Oncidium alliance. Here is a care sheet from the AOS for the Oncidium alliance that will help you with growing your orchid: AOS | Oncidium
hmm a bit dry better change the medium. but i love it because it has lots of new growth! you can tilt the old one... so the young one would straight up. or tie it with a band or something.
