Looks a bit like Paph callosum, though it doesn't have as much purple in it

Thanks for all the help! Actually my husband bought it as he knew that he wasn't going to come up with anything better than another orchid and i got to choose it. I didn't think it was Pinnochio because I did a quick look before I posted . It is like the hybrid you have, Breeindy and I'll check out the link, Howard.

the growths I mentioned I should have called leaf rosettes so I'll have to wait for them to mature.
