snapped off, any hope?
My paphiopedilum snapped off during my move today anyone has any advice on how to save it? Other than the fact it now has no roots, it's healthy. Or should i just dump it and buy myself a new one?

Snapped off how?
Do you mean the leaf fan broke off of the rhizome? I'm not sure, but maybe the rhizome could regrow? You might try saving both parts, taking care of the roots to see if it regrows and also putting the leaf fan in some sphag with rooting hormone to see if you can get it to root. Hopefully a more experienced grower will chime in.

Same question as greenbean. Did the spike snap off, or the entire plant?

I can only assume that its a fan since you said it has no roots.
It may take some time for sure, but you can keep in very humid and warm - maybe in a baggie with sphag or a fish tank with some kinda media to keep the air moist.

The Photo helps ... I would spray the base twice daily where the roots will grow. It needs to stay warm and moist

A rooting hormone dip wouldn't hurt either, but do not use the full-strength Rootone powder, as it's too concentrated for orchids. K-L-N or SuperThrive are better choices.

To add to Ray's suggestion, Hormex is very similar to K-L-N
