i recently purchased a paph. Hsinying Rainbow that i left inside the car for about 2 hours. I live in Miami so the day was pretty warm. when i took it out the bloom and the top four leaves were burned. the bottom 2 leaves are still green. will the plant survive? should i do anything special to it? I will send pictures soon.

If I am reading this right it sounds like the plant had exposure to the sun directly through a window? I would suspect that the plant will slowly acclimate into your growing environment. Before I can not visualize the damage without a .

Hope and pray - and treat it normally, but be extra sure not to get water in what's left of the crowns of the plants.

With some luck, it will form new growths and this will be nothing more than a setback.

Burned out paph
Unhappy

I don't have any paphs, but I have catts, phals, vanda, dendrobiums & cymbidiums & due to my ignorance all have had various trauma including sunburn. They all seem pretty resiliant & have come back nicely. You just have to look at the resulting evidence for a long time.
Good luck.
