Hi all, the flowers/blooms on the second spike have all fallen.

The front cane and the tall cane (you can't see) still have flowers/blooms.

Q: should I nip the spike off now or will it (the spike) do something else?

Thanks

Peter

PS: I saved this orchid (no name), so if someone can come close to naming what type it is I will mark it. I know it's a hard cane Dend', that's it?

If the flowers are gone, you can go ahead and cut the spike.

Hi Peter...what a lovely color!

As all before me said, when a Den drops it's last flower you can cut the spike. None, that I know of, rebloom on the same spike (but I may be wrong).

Susanne,

it is nice. Also that image is about half the size of it. I did lose a keiki off of it, tho.

And yep, I've cut the spike so it's done.

I love that color! Oh how I wish it wasn't a NOID so I could go buy it! But, flowers like that are how many of the NOIDs in my collection foud their way there.
