You are never going to positively ID a hybrid from a flower photo. Species are hard enough, and you often cannot be 100% for them, either.

thats one bloody price theyre selling!

oh here are some of stores i go!
Manila Seedling Bank ( the most complete orchid selling but only a handful sells endemic species )

Cartimar ( pricey and sells limited variety the usual dendrobiums)

Farmer's Market - just ask the vendors inside and theyre willing to direct you where the stores that sells orchids.
(selling unusual orchid species as well)

Sunday Market at Lung Center - every sunday as early as 5am - 1pm around 50 stalls that sells orchids and other plants! its like the best place to buy orchids (be sure to bring a trolley!- if you go for unusual, endemic, rare, collector types of orchids. price range from 25 - 600 pesos, and the best part haggling with the vendors. It's definitely worth going. and alot of orchid collectors go there so you would exchange tips and notes on how to care for orchids. Just have to be careful its really addicting!!!

* I'm so inlove with your phals especially the fourth one white with red blotches. did u bought them in manila? they are really expensive a bloody price around 1500-3500 pesos for a phal like dat! I'm still trying to experiment on phal using a diffrent medium if it works then ill start to buy good ones!

* around february 2009 theres an orchid exhibit you might want to go there i would suggest you go there on the first day (just go and check the orchids) then buy them on the last day (they are selling it cheap).

* if u still cant find the den. mangosteen then give me some time to propagate and ill share one for you.
