Default Phalaenopsis Memoria Cecilia Rimland

I have a new baby!!! I picked this one up today and wanted to show her off and see if anyone could see anything that my newbie eyes can't

The only thing that I have any questions on are the spots on the leaves. Could someone please let me know if I should be concerned about this? The plant looks healthy to me and has a new spike growing from the flowering spike! This is a wonderful orchid and I want to make sure it doesn't develop any problems!

in advance for the advice!!

She's lovely! Congratulations.

My guess is that the leaf spotting was caused by some sort of insect. From the looks of it, the insect is now gone. Keep a close eye on her, though, and if you see anything move, kill it.

Beautiful flower and plant, Amanda! Good choice! The spots might have been from water misted on the plant and then hit by the sun...keep an eye on it and keep us posted!

Thank you for easing my mind! I was really hoping it was nothing I re-potted her this morning, because I hate the sphag they put in the orchids at the store, maybe so they don't have to water as much, anyway, she is in a bark mix now and a few less bad roots. I'm really optimistic about this phal, since I know what NOT to do with them!
Thank you again!
