Default Few questions about Phal with keiki's

Just have a few questions about this Phal i have. I used keiki-boost on it. It didn't take long before i noticed something was growing.

One spike had two keiki's, and in the middle something that looks like a spike. The other spike has one rather large keiki, with another four thingies next to it. Next to the keiki seems like another small keiki, next one looks like a spike, again a small keiki and again a spike.

Now i was wondering if all of these baby's won't take too much of their mommy. She seems alright and healthy (even produces another leaf).

I was also wondering when the keiki's will produce some roots and if i can do anything to promote that?

Some pics...

I use KeikiGrow, which is a similar product. If I get multiple growths I snip off all but the largest, and seal the cuts with cinnamon. The same people who make KeikiGrow also make KeikiRoot (which I've never used), a product which supposedly encourages root growth on the keikis.

If the mother plant is a good, healthy plant (and it should be if you are encouraging keiki growth in the first place), then she should be fine.

Here is what i did to promote roots.

Is this the starts of a keiki

Don't know if it will work for you, but it worked for me. I just moistened the moss early in the morning everyday and it's completely dry within 24 hours. So I repeated everyday, and after about a week with the moss being there, it started growing roots. Hope that helps
