How long does mixed fertilizer solution keep?

Hi,
When I mix a fertilizer solution for my orchids, I don't use all the solution. Is it okay to keep this for the next watering ? Right now, I'm fertilizing week 1 & 3, normal water on week 2 and flushing on week 4. So can I keep the solution for one more week or until the next time I fertilize it?

I'd say yes. If it's been sitting just give it a good shake. This should make sure it's mixed and also aerate it.

Great thank you! It's hard to measure a mixture in small amounts so it's good that the solution will keep until the next time. No wasting!

I think a good idea would also be to keep the unused fertilizer out of the light. I think there's no problem using unused fertilizer after a few weeks, but if you add other things like kln in it, the kln will pretty much be gone after a few days.

Keep the bottle sealed to prevent evaporation, and a quick shake before use is all you need.

Most "chemical fertilizers" are quite stable. I wouldn't be concerned about several weeks' storage.
