My dendrobium oriental smile 'fantasy' is yellowing! What is wrong with it. It produced a kekei then started to shrivel and yellow. The roots are firm. What is it and whhttp://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp261/pinkies/DSC00883.jpgat do I do?

Looks like an old backbulb. Could just be normal shedding of leaves, could be a, normally, deciduous type that should have shed leaves last year. I wouldn't worry right now unless those new growths start shedding leaves as well.

It is a Nobile-Type hybrid and it will loose its leaves.

Your plant isn't losing anything except the leaves which it's supposed to do. This years growth will probably remain, all other leaves will turn yellow and fall. My Oriental Smiles is down now to one more leaf, about to fall. Now's a good time to completely stop watering until you begin seeing nubs on the canes which, on the Oriental Smiles, comes later than most Nobiles, around March. Relax and don't put this one in the fridge!
