Default Cattleya Dupreana "Coerala" "kodana"

I recently purchased this rochid from a hawaaain website in Maui. Tjhe tops of the leaves are turning brown and look dried out. The grower said this was normal. I think not although I am new to orchids. Should it be repotted as it is in a 4" pot, or does it have a disease that needs to be treated. Thanks Dennis in Pensacola

Hi Dennis

I'm curious...who did you buy it from?
To my knowledge, there is no Cattleya where it is normal for leaves to be brown and dry

Could you post a picture? If you need help with that, let me know.

Default Sick Orchid

Susanne:

I just figured out how to post photos to my gallery. I put photos of both plants in my gallery.

Thanks

Dennis
