How to trim my Phalaenopsis... Female

It's been at least 2 weeks since I repotted my first one and I repotted it when it was fully in bloom. It's not like the roots were over grown out of the pot but since the place I bought it from couldn't tell me when it was repotted, I thought it would be smart to just repot it so that it would get a new and nicer birch mix.
