Hi,
I just received a beautiful gift of a wine colored orchid (wine on petals leading to white with wine speckles inside the flower)
Its white roots are crammed into a tiny pot.
I grow a few indoor plants but hava never looked after a plant like this and have noooooo idea what to do.
I live in chilly Dublin, Ireland where the heating will be on alot over Winter in the room where I have it.
Can anyone help with a few pointers and tips on how to look after this amazing beauty?
Give it plenty of sun and water, but let it dry between watering. Without knowing what type it is it is hard to be more specific. If you can post some then we can all share in the beauty of your orchid.
A big welcome to the Orchid Board, Shelley! As neb suggests, if you can post a picture of your plant, we'll be able to tell you the variety and there will be plenty of advice available for you. Good luck!
