Isurus, the camera is a Nikon D40. I haven't had it very long so I have been busy taking pictures of everything that is blooming and creating a new album on my computer. Very interesting that the person who made the cross is a member of your society. That just goes to show how OrchidBoard makes it a small world.
Sandy, it is growing in a mix of 1/2 bark and 1/2 diatomite mulched with a layer of sphagnum. About fifty percent of the time I use rain water. Basically, it is grown pretty much like a cattleya except I never let it completely dry out. I read something once written by a speaker who said bright and wet and that is kind of the rule that I follow.
