Yea, I think that Den was one of Tony's devil ones, because it never did anything for me. But if it ever happens, I will try again, because I DO like Den's. My first orchid was a dendrobium and it has been mistreated, fallen over at least 5 times, spilled out most of it medium , and it still blooms!! In fact, it has two spikes right now.. I can't kill that one if I try.. It's a noid but I don't hold that against it..
I wouldn't either Anytime you find a Dendro that refuses to die it must not be a dendro.
Linnie, another avenue is what I did when one broke off of my dend. I placed it in a small 2" pot with orchid medium and sphag. Prior to potting the dend I used root-tone stimulator, misted heavily and placed the pseudo in a ziploc bag, sealed all but a 1/4 and used a straw to blow air in it and sealed tightly thereafter. Placed in medium light. Within 2 months this is the results.
